Available, reserved and incoming
A single stock number hides the decisions that matter. dailycrm separates what is physically available, what is already committed to confirmed orders, and what is incoming against open purchase orders, so a sales conversation and a production plan use the same numbers.
- Variant-level stock for every size and colour
- Reserved quantities linked to confirmed orders
- Incoming quantities linked to open purchase orders
- Stock movements recorded as goods move in and out
Finished goods and materials in one place
Garment inventory is not only shirts and trousers. Fabric, trims, buttons, labels and packaging all need visibility, because a shortage in any of them stops dispatch. Materials sit in the same inventory model as finished goods and link back to purchasing.
Low stock that leads to action
Low stock is only useful when it becomes a purchase decision. Items below their reorder level surface as a purchasing requirement, which becomes a purchase order to a supplier, closed by GRN and reflected back in stock.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I track stock by size and colour?
- Yes. Every SKU carries its size and colour, and quantities are held at that variant level.
- What is reserved stock?
- Quantity already committed to confirmed orders. It is visible separately so available stock reflects what you can genuinely sell.
- Does inventory update when goods are received?
- Yes. Receiving goods against a purchase order creates a GRN, and inventory updates from that record.
- Can I manage fabric and trims here too?
- Yes. Materials are tracked alongside finished goods and are linked to purchasing and suppliers.
